Target line to run cleanmgr without having to okay deletions?

Using Winkey, I have a keyboard shortcut to run Disk Cleanup. However,
this puts the results minimized on the taskbar so I have to click it,
then okay any deletions. I have IE6 set never to refresh a page, so I
use cleanmgr MANY times a day to delete temporary internet files.

Is there a way to configure the target line so it will just delete
TIFs without confirmation, then turn itself off? With Win98 I had a
..bat file for that purpose.

Incidentally, I'm assuming that if I clear the box authorizing
deletion of recycle bin items, that will continue to carry over until
the next time. The TIFs are unneeded, but I don't want the recycle bin
emptied automatically.

If there's an alternative to using cleanmgr for this purpose, I'm all
ears ... um, eyes.

Thank you.

Put
cleanmgr /sagerun:1
into the shortcut. Then type
cleanmgr /sageset:1
into Start - Run and set the options that the shortcut will clean. You can have multiple shortcuts. Just change the 1 to another number.

Perhaps your shortcut is set to run minimised as it doesn't start up minimised normally.

Sorry, David, really not understanding this. I just want a keyboard
shortcut to flush my TIFs, then turn itself off. Although I attempted
to create a shortcut via instructions, it still appeared for my
approval.

I think cleanmgr runs minimized because another window already has
focus, but as I say, the objective is not to see it at all except
perhaps as a quick flash as it does its thing..
