Any good programs that will convert cassette tapes to CDR ?

Thanks.

Messer is a perfect application for this, because it can automatically stop recording after a period
of silence (noise level can be adjusted). That means you can have your diner or go asleep while
Messer is doing its job. I have recorded many tapes this way successfully. You can also use the
silence between tracks to automatically start recording a new wav/mp3 file. Although the development
of this freeware application is stopped some time ago, it is still a very usefull utility.

Hi!

I don,t know a program ;-) which would do such a job but if you you
really want to archive your cassette stuff on a CD is in my opinion a
Cassette Recorder capable of autoadjusting (or manually)the azimuth
and a CD-Recorder like those with an extra A/D Chip for analogue
sources.

Otherwise it is possible that your Cassette will last longer than the
CD´s.

Good luck.

Best Regards

Daniel

Thanks, but that link gets a "Page cannot be found" error. Tried it a
couple of times. Will you check it out and send me another link? I'd really
like to see the help file you mention.

Thanks

The link is good. Sounds like your DNS is timing out. Here's another link
but the other should work as well. When you get timeouts like that I find
emptying Temporary Internet Files to be a help. Rebooting too.
