I have a report that is reqired from my database it needs
to look like below. Tally is the total of records in that
sub grp that that meet the conditions. the database has
thousands of records and about 30 grps. Also I am
tallying 32 fields. The help file that come with MS
Access are not very helpful. For not I continue my search
of help on the net. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Grp1
sub1 tally1, tally2, tally3
Sub2 tally1, tally2, tally3
total tottal1 tottal2 tottal3

Grp2
sub1 tally1, tally2, tally3
Sub2 tally1, tally2, tally3
total tottal1 tottal2 tottal3

A tally expression can be created in a group or report footer like:
=Sum(Abs( [Condition Expression]) )
for instance
=Sum(Abs( [Gender]="M") )
or
=Sum(Abs( [State]="MN") )

Tallying 32 fields sounds a bit un-normalized but I assume you know your
tables and this structure works for you.
