TalkTalk Problems

I'm current at my parents house for a visit, and it turns out that their phone/internet has been down from just after I arrived (typical ). Has anyone else with TalkTalk experienced an outage, as the person I talked to at tech support seemed to suggest it effected people in the north of England + Scotland.

I did read something on ThinkBroadband the other night regarding internet in the north, tbh i didn't really pay much attention to it as i live in the south! I cant find it again now either...Sorry

I know LINX had a problem yesterday, many ISPs peer with them, not sure if that was it.
