We have broadband with talktalk and to access our email we have to go to the
AOL website and click on a link.
The problem is that when we try to access our email using the button on the
keyboard it takes us straight to windows mail.
It is causing some problems for us, as when we are applying for certain
things using links on websites it automatically tries to send from the
windows mail and we don't have an account for this.
I would appreciate it if someone could offer us some help.

In Control Panel > Keyboard do you have a Tab, perhaps labeled Buttons, that
will allow you to set the button to open AOL?

Do you have Vista drivers for your keyboard?

Search Vista help and support
for "Create keyboard shortcuts to open programs"

Well, if you want to access talktalk using the keyboard button, then, if your
keyboard button drivers support it, then you can set it to open talktalk.

If you are talking about web page e-mail links that is a different matter.

You can go to Start - Defaults Programs - Set Your Default Programs
and set email clients (like Windows Mail) to be the default for Mailto:
protocol, but I don't see where you can set that for Internet Explorer or
Firefox.

Can you program your key to open IE?
