TT policy is to not let people over 70 sign up to the offer, as TT say they may not understand the contract Story in todays Mail on Sunday page 55.

This story is sweeping the net & is bad news for Carphonewarehouse!!

Lemme see then, according to Carphone Warehouse, the second somebody turns seventy, they become senile and incapable of understanding a rental agreement?

but we could just as easily point the finger at some of the "fifteen year old" salespeople in certain high street computer stores, who hurry off to assist a youthful-looking, browsing customer, having ignored the 50 yr old "serious" buyer! Age-ism can work both ways, of course, but what a pity the gulf has to be enlarged by such a silly policy as Talk-Talk's. Mini rant over.
