Taking an old server offline

I have a W2k Terminal Server that has been replaced by a W2k3 TS. The W2k is
offline and has been for about 2 months. It is physically available to put
back online though. Unfortunately the W2k server is a DC. I've used AD
Replication Monitor to look at FSMO roles and it isn't listed as having any
of them. Are there any detrimental effects that I should be aware of by
putting a DC back online after being offline for so long? I just can't think
of any off the top of my head. I want only to put it back online long enough
for it to synch up then demote it to a member server.

Thanks in advance,
Brooke Justice

I have three other DCs that are up and running and doing just fine. Also,
this DC was never removed, deleted, demoted or anything. It was only
disconnected from the network and powered off. Do I need to worry about any
kind of AD restore to this domain controller that's been offline?

Thanks,
Brooke
