Hi

I am using still pictures. I have approx 300 pictures plus
fade transitions. It is now taking approx 20 minutes to
open up the project and when I am editing the video
(moving things around, quite often it freezes) I don't
want to split it into smaller clips as it's all finished
except for tweaking it and the music (4 songs) all fades
into one another at the end.

I have an 80 gig hard drive and 512 mb of ram. Anything
I can do to speed things up or help it run better?

If it freezes on this small of a file should I even think
of ever doing video as I'm sure that would be a much,
much larger file and how does it handle video then, if it
is freezing on 300 pictures?

Have looked at your web site (PapaJohn's) and I don't see
anything mentioned about this problem.

Thankyou

What do you mean by sub projects??--also I don't want to
split it as then the music will no longer fade into each
other at the end of the songs. I am not trying to save
it yet, just trying to work with it ( and having problems)

So how does video co-operate with MM2 if pictures are a
strain???????????? My project is only 4,000 kb , I don't
think that it is that large.

What sort of size are each of the still pictures?
This will not be included in the project file size, as that is just
titles/transitions/in - out points etc.

When I clicked on the properties window of the story
board each picture is approximately 1 mb each and I have
around 300 pic so I guess that would be approx 300 mb
give or take.
