Takes me to diff web pages

I just resotred my computer to the factory settings. For about 2 weeks my
computer has been working fine. But, I believe since i recieved some windows
updates it has sent my Internet Explorer in a rampage. I've just noticed a
few days ago when I would type in a web address, IE would take me to another
web address that I'd visted at another time. Or even when I click a link, IE
would take me to some way off link thats not the what is supposed to show up
and I'll have to refresh the page numerous times for the correct page to show.

For example, I would be surfing items on Ebay, and I'll click on an item and
IE would take me to and error page in YAHOO.

or

I'd type in My college website (ufl.edu) and IE would direct me to a
clothing website that I's previously viewed.

Does anyone know whats going on here. ??

Sounds like you may be infected with some kind of spyware or browser control
virus. You might want to download and run the below programs to see if you
are infected with.

Your cache, and most likely your history, are corrupt. I doubt it is malware
because you are being directed to sites that you have visited before.

Create a new history and cache as per the instructions at the URL below:
