Can you give us a bit more info Scott? What version of PPT? How are you
'taking' the slide from one presentation to another? Is this a new problem?

If powering down and restarting the PC doesn't help, try this:

Open both presentations, put both in Slide Sorter view.
Click the slide you want to copy, choose Edit, Copy.
Switch to the other presentation and choose Edit, Paste.
Does that work?

That is what I have been doing since the menu comand does not work, but I
would like a fix as I do this operation alot.
But thanks for the sugestion.

Try Help, Detect and Repair.

I don't know what else to suggest, then. Couldn't find anything helpful on MS.
If it were mine, I'd probably uninstall Office, run a registry cleaner, restart the PC
and reinstall Office. After backing up my files, of course.

More info on that:
Completely uninstall Office - Office Erasers / Registry Cleaners

Otherwise, it might be time to give MS a call.

My thoughts exactly, but I will keep using it who knows it may fix itself,
I am also thinking of upgrading to the newer version.
Thanks,
S
