Hi!
I have enjoyed a lot of reading and learning from this group for years,
answering here and there, but I never ever get an answer when I start a
topic. Mmmm, am I missing something or are my posts just rubbish ? :)

Since I'm not familiar with any of your previous posts, it is impossible for
me, or anyone else that hasn't read your previous posts, to tell you
anything, one way or another. But persistence pays off.

If any of your previous posts were as clearly worded as this post, I'm sure
you would have received an answer. Welcome to the group.

Could be worse. If you think it's the group's fault for not
receiving an answer, assume they do not know the answer to your
question and carry on. There are many possible reasons that you
might not get a reply, including free will. If you have a real
problem and express your question humbly and clearly in an
appropriate group, you will usually get answers unless the readers
just don't know the answer.

A Google Groups search on your rather non-descriptive and overly spaced
moniker shows only 18 posts in 13 threads where you participated:

Yes, those posts go back "years" to 2001 but 13 threads hardly qualifies
you as participating here or even as "answering here and there". You
may have lurked here a lot over all those years but the times you have
actually asked a question and NOT gotten a response is only *twice* and
each one separated by several months. Your "years" is deliberately and
definitely misleading. You have averaged 1 post every 140 days.

many users to answer. In fact, the lack of replies may have simply been

You asked a question (now around 2-3 days old). No one has answered
yet.

And then there is this question of yours which doesn't count as a
question but rather a whine. So you have, in the past, asked all of 5
questions: 3 got answers, 1 question back on Feb 4 was about old
hardware that got no replies, and 1 was a couple days ago about
temperatures with no replies yet. So you asked 5 questions and 3 got
answered. This was over your "years" of participation from 2001 which
averaged one post every half year.

Sorry (or not hehe) if my post sounded stupid and is a waste of cyberspace,
but if you don't ask.....you get no answer....
You know, there are groups with very strick rules and others with nearly no
rules (or only common sense rules) so I was just wondering, because this
group is very GOOD and very GENEROUS helping people with elaborate answers.
And of course its only human to expect some sort of reaction, be it just a
'can't help, good luck'....

John Doe, thanks for pondering VanguardLH's interesing but cold analysis,
and thanks VanguardLH for bringing back old memories! You didn't expect me
to remember everything, did you? hehe. Anyway, again thanks to all for
taking your time and make me feel better, if I can, I will write more, but
it's hard because I know about my parts but not soo much about everything in
the market, like many of you! :)
