I wonder why it takes long time to save the clip...

I have no problem with saving any movie before this but somehow its got
problem recently...

It shows that 1000000000 minutes time remaining to save the movie. Its still
like that after 5 minutes.

Why is that happened?

even i faced a similar problem, if yu are using windows xp then you should
try uninstalling internet explorer 7 and switch to IE 6. Because many people
report getting problems in windows movie maker after installing IE 7.

I've also seen a report that disabling the
ffdshow codec could be the fix. To accomplish
this...open Movie Maker and go to...Tools /
Options / Compatibility tab...Uncheck...
ffdshow / OK.
