How do I add a curve to a square table, so that the table don't look so square?

Thanks

You would use a quarter-round image in each corner.

Hi Thomas:

Excuse me for being a little bit on the "huh" side, but could you explain a
little bit clearer to me about my question, and I am working with FP 2003.
The reason I asked this question is because I see in some websites where
instead of a straight table, the table looks a little bit better with a
curve.

See Tom's answer, since you are using FP2003. However, I believe in FP2003, you can only add the
corners when your first create the table using the Layout Table function.

If you were using a prior version of FP, then you would have to create image with transparent area
and then add additional cells to your table. Example: http://www.ecom-data.com/

The "curves" are made with images - a quarter circle (one for each corner of
the table) as Thomas stated.

Thank you for your help!

Tom:

Thank you for the link, it really helped. I have one question though that
concerns the HTML DocType. Since I have my website created, I have never
added the DocType code to any of my pages. In your opinion would it be
advisable to go back and add it to the header of my "Index" page and other
pages? Thanks, again for your help.

Thank you for your input. This is nice to know because I have been beating
my head against the wall for about 4 months trying to figure this out. I
upgraded to FP 2003, and I am trying to learn more about FP.

Tom:

I went and followed the instructions for trying to add rounded corners to my
webpage, but I am having problems with adding a Layout Table. I cannot pick
any of the tables as they don't look like they're on. Is there anywhere in
Frontpage where I need to place a check mark or ????. I am most interested
in working with this, but am having problems already.

FP2003: The Layout Tables and Cells options are unavailable (grayed out)
1.. You have View | Reveal Tags enabled - disable it.
2.. You are editing a page that uses Shared Borders. Layout Tables and
Cells and Shared Borders appear to be mutually exclusive.

My Uncle Chutney tells me that Old English is also wonderful for greyed-out
tables. Be sure to wear gloves when applying it, however, as it *can* stain
your hands!

David:

Thank you the link to the training for Layout Tables. I have been learning
FP20003, and going through the training for layout tables was very helpful.

I am basically trying to change the way my tables look on my website, but
wasn't sure how to do it. Now I know. I guess the only questions I have is:

1. If my pages are already created in regular tables, will I need to redo
each page
one at a time, just to use the Layout Tables? or can I apply the layout
tables
design and corners to all web pages?

2. When using rounded corners in my layout tables, is it easy to change the
color
of the rounded corners color. The reason I ask is I have been working
with the
Layout Tables feature, and when I try to change the color of the rounded
corners, the color just stays the same.

You stated:

Are you basically saying that I cannot use Layout Tables and Cells when Iuse
shared borders? Thanks
