Is it possible to put table size in PowerPoint 2003 manually without
resizing it using mouse?

Create a slide master that has a text placeholder the size and position you
want the table to be. Base any table slides on that master (go to Format |
Slide Design and choose from "used in this presentation). The table sizes to
the placeholder automatically if you then use the table slide or one of the
content slide layouts (Format | Slide Layout).

Go to View | Master | Slide Master and make sure the size of the placeholder
(where it says "click to add text") is the size you want your table.

Now you need to go to Format | Slide Layout and choose a title + table
layout or one of the "content" layouts. In a content layout, click the table
icon to add the table to the placeholder. In the title+table layout, I think
you double-click to add the table.

They'll conform to the size of the placeholder, and the text will be the
same font you specified in the placeholder. If you use Insert | Table, it
won't conform to the size of the placeholder -- those will just be inserted
in the middle of the slide.

After creating the slide master that has text place holder with the size
and
position I want, I go to Format | Slide Design and choose "Add Design"
from drop down list in "Used in This Presentation". This duplicates slide
with text placeholder I created using master, but any table on this slide
still will not be linked to the placeholder. What am I doing wrong?

P.S. Could send me an example with table which resizes automatically with
text placeholder on e-mail used for this newsgroup?
