TABLES IN MS-WORD

All the tables I've created in MS-Word have dropped out. I can't create a table and save it. I checked to see of the show grids was on and it is. I've re-installed MS-Office Professional to repair it; but no luck. I can create the table and print it, but still can't save it. Any help out there?
 
I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Word (they all start
microsoft.public.word)

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office.
