Hello -
I'm on Frontpage 2003, Win XP Pro. I've read tables shouldn't be used in
editable regions of DWT's. Is this true ? Thanks,...Frank

No.

Hi Thomas -
Do you mean no, it's not true or no, one should not use tables in editable
regions ??
Thanks. Frank

Where did you read that? I'm sure you must have misinterpreted something.
As Thomas says, there would be no interactive relationship between tables
and editable regions.

No, it is not true. There is no reason that you can't use tables within a editable region.

Not a problem, I use tables in all my editable regions on my site, so long as
you select 'absolute positioning' you have much better control, i think they
are great to use to position stuff in your pages.
have a look around my 'amateur' site that i am currently developing while
learning frontpage 2003. Virtually all the content in the centre of the pages
are done using tables.

Huh? This is a real mistake, you know? Try resizing the text content on
your site in the browser to see what a mess it makes.

urray,

Good spot! on my site its ok for small and medium text but does go out of
shape for large text. I had not experienced this problem before, what do you
recomend as a cure or an alternative? I really like to use tables with
absolute positioning and hope to continue unless there is a better way?
These discussion groups are great for learners like myself to learn about
real problems and tips that people experience, much better than any book!!!!

keep up the posting!!!
