Tables - Automatically Resizing Columns

I have a table in a PowerPoint 2003 document which contains two columns.
Not all of the columns are the same width on each row as they have to be
changed in order to fit the contents of each cell.

When changing the width of a cell with that particular row highlighted,
sometimes another row in the table, not necessarily next to it, changes width
too. How in hell can I stop this!?

Thanking you again.

Tbugs,
Can't seem to reproduce the problem here. What version of PPT is this? What
do the cells contain?

Hi Luc. It's PowerPoint 2003 (11.8120.8122) SP2. I am finding that if I am
changing a column size in a row where further down the table another row is
of similar sized columns then it happens... very temperamental I know... but
usually happens only when all column widths are different for each row.

Tbugs,
Well, I have tried it here and I do not see this behaviour even under the
conditions you have described. On the other hand it does seem a bit odd to
have all cells in a column have a different width, what is the purpose of
that, if I may ask.
