In A2K3 if you link a table to some other system it wants
you to have an "indexed" field otherwise you cannot write
to that linked table.

How do I in a TableDef tell the system the ODBC and DSN (I
know those) AND the "indexed" field?

The indexing is defined for the table in the server database, not in your
link.
