Table Troubles

I'm trying to set up a table. I'm using a 3 X 3 table. I did not format
cell properties or anything like - everything is set to default.
In my first column/row, I have a listing of items (very long)
In my next column (same row) I have a picture (very short)
In my third column (same row) I have a few blurbs (very short)

When I look at the site , the words in the first column start off at the top
of the page. The pix and the blurbs do not start until mid way down from the
top of the page. Therefore, when I look at the page, you have to scroll way
down to see the pix. How do I move that up to the top of its column?
It seems as though all contents of a cell start in the middle of the cell
and expand up.
What's the best way to fix this? Or can I?
Thanks!
Diane

You will need to format each cell with the picture, to make the cell
alignment "top" (the default is "middle") which means if you have a tall
table, the image in the cell will be vertically centred as you've described.

If this isn't what you're wanting, please provide a sample link of the page
with the problem.
