I'm not sure, but you can save the excel page as html... just as we can Word
docs??
ETC

I know FP is not too hot in table creation. I need to put a 6 col x 732 row
table from excel into an html sheet - static data, all values. When I
copy/paste into FP2002 (no special formatting), an html page of approx 1.6MB
is created. Other than pasting it without the table, is there any way to
reduce this size?

Thanks, Bill

Are you sure there is no special formatting?
When I hear 'cut and paste' - I assume from Excel, Id expect a lot of
extraneous code.
Id ask for an example, but I dont want to download 1.6 mb of web page ;-)

If there truly is no special formatting export your Excel sheet as a cvs
file. Then open it in notepad, copy all the data and paste in FP's normal
view. Next, from the Table menu, choose Convert, Textt to Table. That will
convert the cvs file to an html table without any bloat from Excel but also
without any formatting which you may need to reapply for headings, etc.
