When hiding tables, if somebody attempts to unhide a
table, is there anyway of asking them for a password?

No. The trick is to not let the user ever see the hidden table so that the
user can't open the table's Properties dialog window to uncheck the "Hidden"
attribute. Use one of the other methods to hide the tables.
