I remember from Access 97 that there was a 200,000 row
limitation for a Access table. Does any know what the
row limitation is for Access XP (2002), or where
Microsoft post that type of information?
Thanks for you help.

Who told you that there was a 200,000 row limitation in Access 97? Whoever
it was didn't know what he was talking about. There is a 2,000 byte
limitation per row, but there is no limit to the number of rows, as long as
you don't exceed 2 gigabytes in file size (1gigabyte for A97).

Lynn,
Thanks for your answer. I may have meant to say Access
2.0 instead of Access 97 when referring to 200,000 row
limits. But back to your answer, where is this
information posted. I searched Microsoft, which is like
looking for an ice cube in a snow bank, and could not
find anything.

Go to help and type in "specifications" to find out the limitations of your
version of Access.

Since Access 1.0 there has NEVER been a row limitation - only a
limitation on the total database size (1.0 GByte until A2000, 2GByte
thereafter).

Look for "Specifications" in the online help, it contains this (and
much more) relevant information.
