Hi

I have created a table in Office Word 97. 5 columns by 9
rows. One of the rows I have merged to create a heading.
I want to add another column. But when I click insert
column it adds the column to the start rather than the
end. (i.e. left side rather than right side). I have tried
help it says click last table cell and then insert column.
Tried but same result.

Can anyone help?

Make sure you have the display of non-printing characters
activated (Tools/OPtions/View). Now you should see little
circles at the end of every table cell as well as at the end
of each row?

Position the mouse over those at the end of the rows; it
should change shape as when it hovers over a column. Click to
select, as you would a column. Now you should be able to
insert a column at the end of the table.
