Hi all,
We are using an access FrontEnd/BackEnd solution, no security settings are
specified at all. New user wanted to get a copy on the database to another
server or just having the DE and FE local on their computer. When one of the
users are trying to link the FE to the BE on his computer, he gets the
following message when his trying to relink the first table:"You do not have
the necessary permissions to use the 'Table Name', have the system
administrator or the person who created this object set the permissions....",
the rest of the table links get linked without a problem. I have checked this
table and I cant find how this table differs from the others, except that it
is the first table in the list when linking. I have very little experience
with security settings, so Im hoping it is something fundamental Ive missed.
Would be grateful for any pointers/ideas, if you need more information dont
hesitate to ask for it
Best Regards,
Ingman
