Table inside a page header

Hi,

I'm using Word 2003. I'm trying to insert a table inside a page header. I
want it to be flush with the bottom of the page header but there always some
white space. How can I get rid of the white space?

One way, as long as the table is deep enough to reach the bottom of the
header area, is to
a. click the show/hide icon in the Standard toolbar so that you can see the
paragraph mark that follows the table
b. select the paragraph mark (and nothing else)
c. use Format->Font to format it as Hidden.
