Does any one know why when I insert a graphic into a
cell, the whole table goes wacky and puts spaces in
between the pictures? Like I have a pic that is divided
into two pieces and when I insert it on the one cell
fine. When I insert the other half into the adjacent
cell, the whole table looks as though it expands and puts
spaces in between the images. I have looked at the
coding in note pad, my cells are all sized, the images
are all sized exactly. No spances in the coding, I do
not know what to do! Deep breath..okay please help me..

Hi Laurie,

A couple things to look at:

Make sure cell padding and spacing is set to "0"

Also tables and cells do not act as "constrainers" Table and cell sizes are
really only suggested minimums and not maximums. If you set a fixed width in
pixels for cells..but the images you insert are larger..the cells will
expand to the width of the images within them. One "trick" that sometimes
helps is to set the dimensions of the cells to be two or three pixels less
than the size of the images.

just last week I had a similar problem. i stumbled across
the solution. i resolved it by highlighting the picture
and clicking on the left justify button on the tool bar.
let me know if this helps.

You may want to view another web site that works > View > Source > Save.As >
