Table cut and paste style macro

Hi there

Im not overly unfamiliar with Access, but need to create an macro on an
action that upon saving will move a record from one table into another. This
should occur when a check box is ticked under a yes/no function and should
work more or less as a cut and paste.

Any ideas or pointers?

Sorry, I meant to type above that I 'need to create an macro OR an action'
 
You say that you want to cut and paste from one table to another so why not
use only one table and just add a field to indicate if the record is
Active/Inactive? Then in your queries have criteria to only pull active
records.
