Table Caption Continuation

I have several tables in my document that go over a page break. I've
set the header row(s) to repeat at the top of each row with no
problem. However, my client wants the actual table caption to repeat
at the top of each table, and he wants it to note that the table is a
continuation. In other words, if the caption reads, "Table 1. Cool
Info," on subsequent pages he wants it to read "Table 1. Cool Info
(Cont'd.)"

Is that possible? I presume I could just put the caption in a header
row and turn off the borders so it looks like just regular body text
and get the caption to repeat on each page that way, but how could I
add the "Cont'd." designation?

Thanks much!

The only way to get the "Continued" is to put in in the rows of the table
that are repeated and hide it on the first page of the table by positioning
a text box over it.

I was afraid of something like that... that will definitely have to be
a last-minute thing, then, after I'm certain that the pagination won't
be shifting too much. Thanks!

Or, if it would be possible for you to have the table as the only item within a
Word section, you can make use of a first page and a main header to create the
illusion of a repeated table heading.

Thats how I always got rid of 1 page number because it was easier than
the formal method - just remember to remove the borders and it will be
invisible

I've tested the solution suggested above, and it works nicely, but the "cont'd" will generate in Table of Contents or have I missed something?
