Is there a way to fill in the Database Window Description column for
SQLServer Objects?

Thanks.

Alan

gosh... you know i sure wish that there was.

i also wish that they.. get this

HAD QUERY MODIFIED DATES AND TABLE MODIFIED DATES
i mean-- isn't that tracked in sysobjects?

it should be lol

To change the description of an object, open it in design view and select 'Edit Properties' then edit the description.

This is stored in SQL Server as an extended property named 'MS_Description' and is visible using SQL Query Analyzer and
programatically retrievable via fn_listextendedproperty (c.f. BOL) but does NOT display in MS Access's database window - too bad.

Malcom,

Thanks for the info.

Alan
