Tabbing Selects Whole Field

Hi All,

Not sure whether this is a forms or tables question but here goes!!

When you use the arrow keys to move through records the default behaviour
seems to be that the whole field is selected. Is there any way that can be
changed so that the cursor simply moves to the end (or start) of the field.

The reason for this is that I pressed the space bar to wake up my laptop not
realising that a whole field of text had been selected with the result that
I lost it all. Silly of me I know but due to the way I work this is a real
risk!!

It's an option you can set in Tools - Options.
