I have a list in my website of charities donated to, and the list is getting
quite large to scroll through. I would like to set up alphabetical tabs
within the page so the user can click on them to go through the charities
(A-D, E-H etc) is there a way to embed something like this within my page?
Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Thanks Joe, that did accomplish what I was looking to do. I was actually
looking for a way to create Tabs (similar to worksheet tabs in Excel) on a
page. The bookmarks do accomplish the same thing, if anyone can help with the
"tab" portion that would be great!

Hi Bill,

You could possibly create "tab" type images (or search for them on clip-art
type sites) Within each tab you could then enter the lettering that makes
sense (a to d) etc. Then still use the bookmark type method linking to the
appropriate area from that particular tab. Another alternative would be to
setup individual pages that only contained the appropriate charities for
those letters and link to those pages.

Here's some freeware to do it with .css as well (although I haven't used it)

Dynamic Drive http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ offers a free script for tabbed
text. But they also have a good search form script that I've been using to
replace my alphabet tabs. Placed in a frame banner, this little form will
search for any word on the page. Why tab to "N" and then scroll to find what
you're looking for?
