Tabbed mesaging

I used to be able to have one window open with tabs for each person i was
speaking too rather than a load of separate windows to open and close trying
to chat to everyone.... i have gone throught he options but dont seem to be
able to find the option anywhere... can anyone help it is really annoying

Hello,

Messenger does not support that. You'll have to install an addon called
Plus!: http://www.msgpluslive.net/?lang=en
Also, you will need the new Live Messenger
(http://get.live.com/messenger/overview).
