Tab in Excel

For some reason when I hit tab it no longer moves me over to the next cell it
moves me over 17 cells. So if I am in Column A and I hit tab it takes me to
column Q. Any idea why this is happening???

on the menu bar...
Tools>options>transition tab>uncheck transition navigation keys
