Tab & Enter key problem in a tabbed form. Access2K

I have a four tab form, with 10-12 fields on each tab's page, in a contact
manager database.

The problem I'm having is tabbing between fields. When editing an existing
record, the <Tab> between fields works perfect. When I choose to add a new
record (*), and try to use <Tab> to advance through fields of that new
record, pressing <Tab> changes to the next page-tab Not to the next logical
field of the same page-tab. Using <Enter> has the same result.

I have used this method in many Access97 applications without this problem
ever.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I resolved this.
I found code that was doing a save record on exit, apparently causing the
record to jump tabs. I was able to recreate the tab jump using the "save
record" from menu.
