Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

I have a form that includes numberous subforms using the
tab control tool box. I have a macro setup under a combo
box field within the main form to point to a specify tab
under the tab control. This allows an individuals to choose
a particular subject under the main menu and have that
subject's subform be viewed. This macro runs under the
afterupdate option.

The problem that Im having is that when I search thru the
entries within the main form, the combo box changes
occurringly depending on the subform that was filled but
the macro no longer changes the corresponding tab within
the tab control. I tried to run the macro under the
OnChange option, but this this not work either.

Omar,

Please post back with details of what are the actions in your macro.

Thanks for the reply Steve. I got someone to answer my
question. Another question, You helped me create a
gotocontrol command that allows me to make a selection
from a combobox within a mainform and have it switch to a
specific subform within a tab control. When this occurs,
Access scrolls down and puts focus on the subform
selected. How do I "control" the position of the scroll
bar within access? What I mean by this is, how to I
prevent access from scrolling down to the middle of the
page and putting focus on the subform.

Thank you,

Omar
