Tab control disappears

I have a form with several tabs. If I open another form on top, then close
it, the labels on the tabs disappears until I hover my mouse pointer over
them, at which time they re-appear. What is going on??

I had a similar problem using Access 2003 running under XP. I had set the
tabs to a style of "button" and had this very problem occur. I changed the
style to "tab" and they re-draw properly.
Check the style of the tabs and if they are set to button try changing them
to "tab"
