Hi all,

A question regarding bitmaps in the tabs of a tab control in Acc97. I have
created some small bitmaps that I want to use in the Tab control. I have
set the background to the standard form colour, however when I display it in
the tab, the background appears to be white. I have tested the background
by placing the same icon in an image control on the form and it appears
"transparent".

I know that the images will be out if the user changes system colours,
however is there a reason for the tab control to show the image diffrerently
and I suppose is transparency supported. I am using Paint Shop Pro for
image manipulation. Not a big problem in the scheme of things but just
thought that there may be a simple answer.

Cheers

Hi (again),

Just to add to my last post it also happens with the built in Access
bitmaps. Could it be that the XP default colours dont match the default
colours of Win95/98/2000?

Have an old machine with older OS on so I am going to try!

Cheers
Rob
