T20 data transfer to a T23-help

Hi all,

I would like to transfer some programs (MS word etc) from my T20 to my
T23. Can someone enlighten me on how this is done? I don't have a CD-R
so I can't just burn a CD of what I want. Some way to connect the two
Tpads together ???? T20 has XP and T23 has @200Pro.

The simplest approach is a crossover network cable between them.
 
The needed cable is a cross-over ccable..

Even if you get them connected together and recognize each other, just a
physic copy/move from one machine to the other won't be enough. Just a copy
won't wrk on the new machine, as it will be missing tons of registry
entries, file associations and the like. It needs to be installed properly
on the other machine too, which the EULA usually don't support...

Good question. A crossover network cable can't possibly be it. right?
 
I have the crossover cable inplace.........now how do you get the
computers to recognize each other.

You don't have a clue what you're doing, do you? What you want is not a
matter of simply copying Word from one PC to another anyway. You can
transfer data that way, not installed software.

Introduce them to eachother nicely ... have you atually tried searching for
info on the subject? There's plenty of info on this available online.

Basically the best way to do this is a fresh installation. Anything
else will give you trouble.
