To save my self from experimentation and the potential waste of transfer
sheets, does anyone here use the R200 for transfer making, even
occasionally?

Iron-on T-shirt??? nothing special about it, just print as regular paper
(don't need to print as high quality). Just make sure to print on the right
side, and if you print WORD then remember to reverse the letters

-=>>>x)))) will become ((((x<<<=-

Follow the directions for settings in the instructions provided by the
transfer package.

They do come with some general information but won't warrantee you can run

That is correct. It's not so much because of the inkjet but the fact that
unless you are using a heat press they just don't last as long. If I was
going into business I would invest in a good quality system not just use
off the shelf transfers in my inkjet.
