Sytem sounds missing

Yes, I tried all of that, but it still doesn't work. I
also tried to search in the ms support and tried all the
steps they show me but nothing seems to change.
Please tell me if you have any other suggestions

I tried all the steps in kellyscorner, MS support, window
xp help and support.
I created a new account and it works i copied the
profiles but it was not as i expected. I'm working on a
project about my computer so if i were to copy the old
profile, the new account, i want it to be EXACTLY
IDENTICAL with the old one, every details must be the
same but the new account is different.
Are there another way to solve this problem? Why did it
happen? Why can't I hear my system sounds?
 
I create a new account, copy the files the same as they
shown me.

Differences: Internet settings are different. In my old
account, i have a lot of settings so it's hard to change
the setting again (it would take me 3 days or so). The
C:\Windows\system is blank. C:\Program files is blank,
Start menu is changed completely

I copy the profile exactly as they show me, create a new
account -> go to system pro. -> advance -> users
profiles -> settings -> click the profile then click
copy .............

That's what i did but beside my documents, favorite
folder everything is changed.

What should i do?
