Sysvol help

We are running 2k server environment and the sysvol folder was somehow
deleted. we were able to put our scripts back but the domain policies and
standard policies that come about during install are not and we are
generating numerous userev errors saying it can't find the gpo and Without
doing a rebuild is there any way to fix this.

A couple of suggestions:
- Restore the System State from your backup medium.
- Do something about the full stop on your keyboard.
Your post is very hard to read without them - like a plate
of sticky spaghetti.
 
I apoligize about my typing technics. However, there was never any daily
backups done on the sysvol folder. There was one done back in april of this
year but that was done because we upgraded 2k echxange server to 2k3
exchange. I have done some research about the restore and it seems alot
people that have performed them had some serious issue arise as a result. We
are really not noticing many issues I think there was only an email issue we
had that was related to this. I geuss I was hoping for a way to recreate
these default policies without having to use a restore.
