My desktop locks up without icons or taskbars when I
first log on. After going into task manager and ending
this application everything works fine. Does anyone know
where this comes from???

It seems to be spyware. Download and run spy removers. The sites below offer
the most popular ones. Get both, one will detect some things the other
doesn't.

Reportedly "adware".

AdAware and SpyBot can detect "intruders", and give the user the option of
excising them...
