Hi everybody (please forgive html).

This is only a two icon example, but I have seen 3 Giant icons in my systray at the same time. Generally the icon does not go away until another application is started.

Have the same problem rolling over them makes the etra ones go away!

Hi Sandi,

The systray enable/disable is a bug but several at once - quite odd.

Regards,

I get the same thing, but my system shows as many as 13
in the systray. If I mouseover them, they disappear
immediately. Once Windows has finished booting, I am
eventually left with only one. This is running on Build
2600.xpsp2.040919-1003 (Service Pack 1). I have not seen
this behavior on any of my PCs running Service Pack 2 or
Windows 2003 Server.

I'll have to try roll-over, see if that makes them go away.
