Systems Log Event ID 36870

Good Morning,

I have a 2000 mixed mode domain (single domain
forest) with two DCs. In the last hour one of them
started logging this event:

A fatal error occurred when attempting to access the SSL
server credential private key. The error code returned
from the cryptographic module is 0xffffffff.

I haven't had any luck searching in the MS website
for this error message. Can somebody point me in the
right direction.
