I purchased a new Intel 865PERL and Intel 2.4Ghz CPU along
with a new hard drive. I used to Ghost to clone my old
drive to my new one. I then set up my new hardware and
plugged my drive in and started it up. I got a blue screen
of death for about a half second before system rebooted
itself and kept doing this over and over.

I then booted from my XP CD to do a repair so that it can
install and recognized the new hardware. During the
install of devices, they system will just reboot itself
again over and over at the same point.

What is causing this!! This is very frustrating. Somebody
please help me. Thanks!

Try restoring your Ghost image once again, and running the repair install
before allowing XP to boot for the first time on the new machine. Providing
this is not an OEM copy of XP, it could work.

Just tried that and it still reboots automatically when
installing devices. No fun. Got new gear and cant seem to
get it to work.
