Ok, so here's the problemm In changing a cpu fan we inadvertantly removed
his processor and turned the computer on. We replaced the processor and now
the system hangs at the first page where a person can see a listing of his
primary disk, secondary disk, processor, etc. It sees his processor and all
his hardware just fine but the computer just hangs there indefinately. Any
ideas?

Try to zero out the CMOS back to its default (there should be a jumper on
the motherboard to do this) Then reboot and go into the CMOS setup and
reconfirm all the settings in there. Hopefully, you are familiar enough to
know what the right values are. Otherwise, go with the "safe" defaults.

If that doesn't work, then try re-flashing the BIOS. But the first procedure
should work, unless the motherboard is physically damaged.
