systemfile ntdetect,io

i find some files on the system drive c:\ have 0 length called{ io and
another called msdos} i don't understand what that mean; I find also files
ntdetect and ntldr on the same drive. Q: is this files important? : can i
delete them?

Leave them alone.

Well my dear friend.. DOn touch those files well actually I dont think
Windows will let u touch ntldr and stuff.. They are system files...

io.sys and msdos.sys are there for compatibility with older programs. Leave
all four alone. There's a whole bunch of other 0 byte file in the root
directory for you to leave alone. They don't take up any hard drive space.
