system32 problem

Every time I turn my computer on, the System32 file
folder automatically opens up. I can close it and it
opens up again when I open up Internet Explorer. Why is
this happening and how do I fix it. I looked in the
registy editor to try and find a null or incomplete
entry, but I found none. Thank you for any help you can
give.
