System32 folder opens automatically on bootup

Hi all,

I have a problem that has crept up recently... I THINK it
may be related to a critical update...

When my system boots up... the Windows/System32 folder
opens in explorer automatically.

Any ideas how to stop this ?

I had this problem in the past... have just completed a
re-format and re-install (attempt to fix it) and there
was no problems... did my critical updates installation
and now problem has re-appeared.

Thanks in advance.

Resolved ! Thank you both so much.

It was caused by a reg key named:
SB Audigy 2 Startup menu

Type:
Reg_SZ

Data:
/L:ENG

I deleted this key and the problem disappeared.

Thanks again for the QUICK help !

Cheers
