system32 file opens at xp startup

i have xp and everytime i start up my computer the system32 folder opens up. I tried deleting the folder but it wont delete. Then i fallowed the instructions to go to regedit and find if there are any incomplete files and stuff like that but i dont know what i am looking for and i dont want to delete something i need. I need serious help so if you can help me i would greatly appreciate it. Please please e-mail me with help

Upon Boot". Download this repair file and then run the repair.

i tried that link and when i open the program it says "the script cannot repair your issue. the expected registry value was not found"
